Motivated to lose weight or gain more control of your eating habits, you cut out carbs, sugar, and all your favorite foods. It goes well for a while, until you start to feel deprived, and cravings & hunger increase. Eventually, you give in to temptation and eat the forbidden food. You eat more than feels good because “What the hell. I’ve already messed up anyway”. Feelings of guilt take over, and you beat yourself up for “failing” once again. You promise yourself to do better tomorrow. You just need to be stricter. And so the cycle starts all over again. Sounds familiar?

It’s not about being able to stick to your healthy habits or stay dedicated to your goals when life is going “ perfectly “ – it is about learning the skills needed in order to be in control of your nutrition/healthy habits in critical (day to day) situations. Quite literally, when life happens.
